San Antonio (SAWS) sprinkler, irrigation system or soaker hose: 0 or 1 → Monday; 2 or 3 → Tuesday; 4 or 5 → Wednesday; 6 or 7 → Thursday; 8 or 9 → Friday. Allowed hours: 5–10 a.m. and 9 p.m.–midnight.

## Status
Stage 3 since 2026-09-22. Set by the 10-day average level of the Edwards Aquifer at the J-17 well: Stage 1 below 660 ft, Stage 2 below 650 ft, Stage 3 below 640 ft. A stage can be lifted 15 days after the aquifer rises above its trigger.

## Schedule
- Sprinkler, irrigation system or soaker hose: 0 or 1 → Monday; 2 or 3 → Tuesday; 4 or 5 → Wednesday; 6 or 7 → Thursday; 8 or 9 → Friday; no address: Wednesday
- Drip irrigation or tree bubbler: Monday and Friday

Allowed hours: 5–10 a.m. and 9 p.m.–midnight

## Exceptions
Hand-held hose any day, any time. Residential vegetable gardens on drip: Monday, Wednesday and Friday during Stage 3 hours. Residential car washing once a week, on Saturday or Sunday.

## Fines
Watering outside your day is a citable violation; Stage 3 also adds a surcharge on single-family use above 20,000 gallons a month.

## Applies to
SAWS customers in San Antonio and Bexar County. New Braunfels (NBU), Bexar Met areas served by others, and WCIDs such as Bexar County WCID #10 have their own rules.
